Once upon a time....
Once upon a time....
In August of 2021, in a land far, far away.... okay, actually in the simplynailogical Discord server, several members had an idea to create a spreadsheet to chart all the base polish and topper combinations within the Holo Taco line of products. Columns and rows were quickly set up, and soon followed tabs to show multiple topper combos.
As new releases came out, new tabs, columns, and rows were created, adding hundreds of cells of new combo possibilities.
With the chart quickly growing, a small team of volunteers formed, headed by EmilyG and samism. Over the next several months, a submission form was created for fans to submit their own swatches, and eventually, this website and the Discord support server were created to bring all of the parts together.
With an early 2022 launch, we are excited to see where this labor of love grows, and we would love it if you joined us on our quest!
How it Works
How it Works
After each Holo Taco release, the chart and form get manually updated by our volunteer team to include the new polishes. This includes adding new rows and/or columns as needed and new tabs if the collection includes toppers.
When a new swatch is submitted following our submission guidelines, the information gets added to a database, which the mods then use to add the submission to the chart with the provided credits. If the photo needs cropping, it is done at this point.
